Structural bamboo notes
Working notes on bamboo as a building material.
At Unity Art Collective we treat materials the same way we treat culture: with seriousness, curiosity, and a refusal to accept the default value assigned by the market.
Structural bamboo is being explored as a building material.
This is the same logic we apply to upcycled fashion and to art itself: look at what has been undervalued, apply disciplined process and design, and convert it into something that commands respect (and price) on larger stages.
